Once you are in contract with a shipping business on board, they will pick up the products from your supplier and transport them through the port in one of the following types of configurations: FCL, LCL, BULK. It is always necessary to take customs times into account as this extends the travel time of goods.
If your company doesn't have enough products, even with LCL as a possibility, it can be more economical for you to deliver them by air freight or courier. Both of these are more expensive because the vehicles themselves are smaller, even if they are both employed to convey lesser quantities of goods
